| Splash Bostons are also known as piebald Bostons. Splash is a pattern, not a color. This pattern has been around since the creation of the breed. An Irish Spotted Boston has the typical tuxedo markings. A Splash Boston can vary from almost all white to spotted just like a Holstein cow! My splash Bostons pictured above are actually known as extreme white, meaning that they have the gene that causes them to have 80% or more white covering their body! |
